Hello!!

Welcome to Newport Operatic Society's Website. I'm Phil Evans and I have recently become NOS Chairman. I have been an active member of this great Society for over 12 years. I am ecstatic that we have our own website as we can now talk to you - our current and potential members - every week about what is happening with Newport's longest established musical theatre group.

We are a friendly, sociable group who meet at least twice a week to rehearse for our 2 full musical theatre productions per year. We produce a musical which is presented in late April/early May and a musical that is presented in late November/early December. We currently perform both productions at the Dolman Theatre, Kingsway, Newport.

On this site you will find our programme of future productions, up to date rehearsal schedules, contact details about joining us, our social calendar (very important!!!) and recent show reviews written by independent critics - HONESTLY!!
